✍️ What We Publish

We are primarily interested in:

  • In-depth essays on personal or structural aspects of credit, lending, and debt.

  • Investigative pieces that uncover hidden mechanisms or consequences in financial systems.

  • Cultural features exploring how creative, artistic, or marginalized communities interact with money, funding, or economic pressure.

  • Data-driven analysis on policy, credit behavior, subsidies, or financial technologies.

  • Opinion and commentary, provided it is well-argued, evidence-backed, and constructive.

We appreciate writing that blends strong storytelling with rigor, curiosity, and an ethical approach.

📏 Length & Format

  • Word count: 800–1,500 words for standard articles. Longer features (up to 2,500 words) are accepted by prior agreement.

  • File format: Submit your work as a Google Doc link or Word document (.docx).

  • Please include any references or data sources at the bottom of your piece.

  • If your piece includes original interviews or datasets, specify that in your email.

We do not currently accept AI-generated submissions.

  • A clear working title

  • A brief summary (2–3 paragraphs) of what you want to explore

  • Why this topic matters now

  • Any relevant expertise or personal connection you bring

  • Links to previous work or a short bio

🔍 Editorial Process

If your article is accepted, our editors may request revisions for clarity, tone, accuracy, or structure. We work collaboratively with writers to bring out the strongest version of each piece. Fact-checking is part of our editorial process.
