From the moment you walk through the doors, you know that you are in for a fun, authentic & enjoyable dining experience. Owners JJ & Kris Johnson combined their two popular restaurants: JJ’s Restaurant and La Puerta Mexican Cantina, to be able to offer a menu with a variety wide enough to satisfy ALL of their customers in one visit. The menu is huge and the choices are plentiful. What didn’t change, was their commitment to no-frills, honest food and prices.

French fries are hand-cut daily from local Wisconsin potatoes. Burgers are made fresh to order. Our salsa is made BY THE GALLONS every single day & night, our chips are fried in-house and our guacamole is always mashed from fresh avocados. Local fish arrives daily from our friends up the road in Gills Rock, and classic sandwiches and mexican favorites are honored, because our loyal customers won’t let us take anything off that menu!

The spirited atmosphere offers our guests a chance to unwind. Servers are friendly and food is plentiful. It is nice to know that with today’s fast-paced and busy lifestyle, there is a place where families can gather around the table, catch up with each other and friends, while enjoying great casual & satisfying food.
